I have just noticed today my yellow tangs pectoral fin on one side had gone a bit red at the base of it, not sure if it is a disease or could that have happened by him crashing into something? All other fish and inhabitants are fine water tests are good

Ammonia 0.0
Salinity 1.025
Ph 8.1

Picture is as good as I can get he is a fast fish!!!

It could be a fluke if it looks like it's popping out. They come in many colors. If it's not and it looks deepened into the skin it could be that a different fish attacked it. The pics not clear enough to tell though.
 
Thanks there is nothing attached to it no growths or anything like that it must just have been attacked or crashed into the rocks which I have seen him do before
