Yellow Tang has red spot on top of head

Hi everyone just bought my first yellow tang yesterday at the lfs and he is eating flakes and seaweed so far but I have noticed the top of his head is a little red. My water is perfect so any suggestions?

My guess is that he was bumped on something or stung by something, and the red you're seeing is a sore. I had this happen with a false percula, and he recovered on his own over time.

Thanks he has been digging up my live rock and making hiding spots hints I put that stump in there and on the way home he was headbutting the bag he was in while my fiancé held him

Just keep a close eye on him. Tangs are very susptible to HLLE. Moving this to the sick fish forum.

What's HLLE I'm new to saltwater I have added some Zoe and Zoecon to his food he ate it thanks
