Someone else has suspected it as well, and recommended peroxide dips, which is more readily available (at least in my house) than the furan that is suggested in the article I linked. I guess what sucks the most is that I'm leaving for a week next saturday, so if push comes to shove, I may just have to toss this frag and hope my others haven't caught it as well.
