adding salt to aquarium? how much and how quickly

I'm set to treat my tank that has velvet. How should i add the salt. It's 180 l tank which from what i've seen would need about 9 rounded tablespoons of salt. How much should i do at once 50% and then 10% daily for 5 days or just a small amount each day? Do i need to change water as i add?

All at once. As it dissolves it will slowly bring the concentration up. You can place into a small container (jar or glass) to slow the dissolution. I would change half the water (or more) before the first treatment.

Dont add all Ur salt at once! U will shock Ur fish! Slowly increase the concentration in 48 hours or so.

I would slowly add it over a period of 24hrs, you'll always get different opinions on how much and how quickly to add it.
