Hey guys
2 days ago male blue ram fish died, I'm not sure why there was no sign of illness and all my parameters were normal. Since then my female has lost all of her colouring and has refused to eat.
I was wondering if it is worth getting another male since she is only about 6 months old, or is it too late once they've bonded with a fish?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Dont mistake the decrease in the female Rams coloration and lack of appetite to be a saddened reaction to the death of the male. They might simply be symptoms of the unidentified illness that killed the male Ram.
Post pics of the female Ram when possible.

What is your water like ? Parameters....
What temp do you keep tank at ?
What tank mates are there and tank size ??
I second the notion not knowing why doesn't mean there is not an issue..
Rams are sometimes sensitive or poor quality. But the death of the male could be just have been a quicker end to him then her..
On the bonding thing you could probably add another male without problem.
