African Chiclid not acting right.

I think that it is a electric lab but it is not looking right or acting right. It has a lump in its throat and isnt eating. The best way I can describe the lump is it looks something like a lizards throat where it comes out to a point. Could it be possible that it is caring eggs? It swims around good and other than not eating acts ok.

Forgot water conditions. PH 8.1 Ammonia 0 ppm Nitrite 0 ppm Nitrate 30 ppm.

It could be carrying fry. This fish is a mouth brooder, meaning it holds the young in its mouth. If you want to raise the young, separate the female into her own tank and give her a hiding place.
The female will not eat (or very little) during this time.
