After Bloat

Just lost my only two fish to bloat. Is there anything I have to do to the tank before getting new fish? I read that it can be caused by bacteria, so I'm wondering if I have to dose the tank with anything. Thanks.

What kind of fish and what size tank? Was it cycled? Depending on the fish bloat can be caused my many different things, so it is hard to know for sure.

They were both Tropheus Duboisi, a species apparently infamously susceptible to bloat. Each was in it's own tank (one in a 20, one in a 29). Both tanks fully cycled. And, I imagine, since they've been fishless for almost a week now, they'll have to be cycled again. They had the classic symptoms. White, stringy stool, loss of appetite, stayed near the bottom of the tank, hiding most of the time, and when they passed, they sunk.
