I have 2 thriving Angelfish and 4 red eye tetra. I decided to add 3 smaller/younger Angels. The 1st time the new fish died I thought something was wrong with the parameters of my water but everything was normal. So I went out and replaced them and the same thing happened. Could the older Angels have bullied the younger ones causing their demise? My tank is established for about 5 months now and no other fish has died.

38 gal tank
Marineland filter
Nitrite, Nitrate and Ammonia 0
pH 6.2

Like cichlids always have a strongest to weakest pecking order. Once you add the new group of like cichlids "Angels" you probably noticed the bickering. I've had a lot of Angel fish off and on over the years and can't remember any deaths due to other angel aggression.
If your other 2 angels are fine, I would suspect that the problem stems from your LFS, internally damaged fish, maybe over medicated.
Keep trying.
