Today I came home to see our angelfish was stuck in one of the plants. I freeed it, but now it's laying on the bottom of the tank lifeless. It's not dead because it's fins are still moving, and it's breathing. But the breathing is very odd.

PLEASE HELP!!

Do you have an airstone in the tank? I would add one if not. When was the last water change? What size is the angel? I would do a water change if you haven't done one recently also and leave the lights off a bit more to help relax it.

Any idea how long it was caught? What kind of plant did it get caught in?

Well, thanks for the responce. But unfortunatley she didn't make it.

In answer to your questions though. We have a big air stone, and do regular water changes.

I don't know how long she was caught.

I may have to start turning the light off more. It's usually on for long periods of time.

Again, thanks for the responce.
