Angelfish with Silver Spots

After doing a PWC today, I noticed my black angelfish has silver / white areas on one side of him. It's only on one side and it doesn't look like ich.

Any ideas? He seems really healthy and he eats like a hog.

My black angel has that as well I think it's the scales coming off? I'm not sure treating mine right now with melafix though

That's what I think too, I was just making sure. I'd still like to have a second opinion though.

I don't know what it is but I just had to say that your black angelfish is really a beautiful fish! Hope he gets lookin better soon

Looks like he may have scraped off a few scales. I had a black angel that would get like this if we ever had to catch him with a net... He would be back to normal within a week. Perhaps he scratched himself on decor or something!
