Have a couple bala's in a hospital tank for a week now. Started with Melafix and Pimafix, didn't seem to do much good and switched over to Erythromycin, following the instructions, they have now have had 5 doses.
They certainly appear to be improving, the red streaks in the fins are now pinkish. At what point should I stop treating and furthermore feel comfortable removing from the hospital tank and back into their home?
