Beta fish probs

My wifes beta fishs water keep getting white and thick. So thick at times the fish cant see his food. We change his water 2-3 times a week due to that. It also looks like its peeling.

sounds like some kind of bacteria . get something called betta fix . and keep doing water changes.

get some purafied water from the store. clean tank and all stuff in it. fill with purafied water.

What are you using for a filter on this tank? Readings good?
