Betta swimming sideways

A friend of mine has 2 bettas (with divider). Recently, one of them started swimming sideways, and the other seems to be doing fine. I suspect that it has swim bladder disease... Though it is difficult to pinpoint. Does anyone have any exp with this? Will Seachem Paraguard help against this? Was thinking about giving him some. Thanks
