Beware the evil siphon!

I was doing a PWC today and my betta swam too close to the siphon when I looked away. I was able to get him out but he doesn't look too well... It looks like the siphon "sinned" the top of him. I couldn't get a very good picture because he is hiding. It's hard to see but he is in the middle.

I can see that he is really not looking to well I think that because he is a betta and they are usually very weak when they are hert, just keep a really good eye on him and it is a gamble if he decides that he can get through this he will but if he gives up it will turn fatal. Hope he gets better and that this helps

He is 100% back to normal as in he is eating, not hiding, comes up to the surface when I open the lid, and overall is just like he was before. Except he still looks pretty beat up.
