Bichir Senegal Not to swell

My bichir has recently, just today, been under the weather. He is very bloated and not very active. He is very bloated, and stays inside the fake driftwood. He almost looks pregnant the only thing i can think thats different is the sinking pellets i just got today. any suggestions?

Very probably the sinking pellets...likely he ate them all (bichirs are a cross between hoovers and pigs) and then they swelled some.

i just reread what i wrote...wow. Well i can't sleep so i figured i would put it to good use. I have been watching the bichir, and he is active as ever keeping the other fish from a goodnights rest. He still looks pregnant, and didn't think twice about gobbling up the pinch of blood worms i put in to see if he had an apetite. I also dropped a pellet by him and he passed it once or twice didnt touch it. my gourami ate it though. I'll keep an eye on him make sure he is ok. Maybe he is just a compulsize eater...
