I have a female Sword that seems to be getting more and more black dots along it's side and top to it's nose. It kinda looks like algea but I am not really sure. Sorry no pics, I'll try again if need be. There is NO algea in the tank and no other fish have any symptoms.

Any ideas?

It's been my experience with livebearers, especially mollies, that the color change is normal. Especially the black appearing. If she is still acting fine, swimming fine, eating, etc. I'd not worry. :)

Color changes are fine. I'll second that I've had fish develop colors after they were full grown.

Yeah I 3rd that. My mollies that where black and white pretty much tured all black. Even tho yours is a sword fish. They can still go throgh a color change. :)
