Black/White spot on Golden Fantail?

Jlk, it literally appeared over a few hours. I took a nap, woke up, and noticed it. It wasn't there when I got him, just a sudden appearance

Thanks RM! I am bit dumbfounded here, esp because it appeared quickly & there is nothing new to introduce anything into the tank. Perhaps he injured himself & its healing. Lets see how your water looks & take from there. Healthy water does a world of good in healing fish! If he doesnt appear stressed, i would just keep an eye on him & let us know if anything changes.

Them * not sure why my phone decided to post that before I was finished... Anyway I will update changes. For now though he seems.perfectly normal. I've spent a good deal of time watching him to notice behavioral changes, but nothing so far.
