black worm looking things

I have a 20H that currently only houses a pleco. today as I went to check on things I noticed what I originally thought might have been poop flowing from the current on the top and to me looked like it was squirming. I took one of my nets and scooped up like 3 of them, and sure enough they look like some black worms and they were moving! I couldnt go back and look and maybe find where the pleco was to see if he's alright because my hood light is malfunctioning so it's back into darkness.

I have not had the chance to test anything yet but will soon. Any idea what these worm things are?
