i have a young black ghost knife that's always seemed very healthy. he usually doesn't come out of his hides during the day and is much more active at night. eats like crazy. today, it's late afternoon and he's pretty active, i don't know why. i was watching him and his stomach looks really bloated.

is it something i'm feeding him? is it possible that it's a female getting ready to lay eggs? do they lay eggs when there's no male around? what does this mean?

i honestly completely forgot i posted this here! he's actually much better now, i'm not sure what was wrong before. overeating maybe? it went away within a couple of days and he's been fine since
