Bruised Betta

My Betta has these red marks on him suddenly! He was hurt a few days ago and I noticed he had clamped fins so I started giving him medicine for that but these red marks have only recently shown up. Is it bruising? What should I do if it is bruising? It starts from the end of his body and down his tail.

Melafix is pretty good stuff. Some say not to use it. But it works good. I've never had a problem with it. https://nippyfish.net/sick-betta/wounded-betta/
