My bubble eye goldfish has a severe fungal infection or ick growth on one of his bubbles. It popped about a month ago and was growing back fine; then he had ick. he is in an isolation tank and we are currently treating him with "quICK cure: fast relief for ick and protozoan parasites." the ick is gone however, the infection in his newly grown back bubble is getting worse. What type of antibiotic should i use?

Hi & welcome to AA!!

First check the water ... do frequent pwc's even if the parameters are fine. <Esp. in a small QT, organics collects & breed bacteria.> Clean water is the first thing that is needed.

Assuming that the ick is completely gone (no spots for at least 2 weeks), then a secondary infection is likely. If it is mild, then all it need is a bit of salt (say 0.1%) and clean water.

If you need to use antibiotics (should only be used if infection is resistant to simple treatment), then medicated food is the best. Something with kanamycin is the current best choice. (Eg. MediGold). "Activated" Sulfonamide is also a good choice (ie Romet B). If you must use antibiotics in the water (fish not eating) then kanamycin is the only effective choice.
