Can I use primafix and melafix with other meds?

Can I use these to fight secondary infections whilst treating for slimecoat diease.

I've never seen the need to use the -Fix's anyway. They are made from Tea Tree Oil (only 1% content and 99% water) which is an antiseptic. Cleans wounds not cure diseases.

I wouldn't bother with them either. The only time I've ever used Melafix was when I got a male betta shipped to me and he had bitten off his own tail. I also used salt and Indian Almond Leaves

What are you treating with out of interest at the moment?

And what sort of fish.

I'd be a little wary on mixing them like that.

According to API it should actually be safe. Very little research on this.
