Cherry barb on the mend!

Hey guys! One of my lovely little cherry barbs ended up with a parasite. He started acting all strange, hiding, loss of appetite and ignoring all of the other fish in the tank and he was feeling very sorry for himself! I started him on treatment on Saturday and I have seen no visual improvements yet, how long will it take for him to get better? I hate seeing him like this

I'm not sure, he had a white spot on his side and someone from the pet shop advised it was some sort of parasite. He died today unfortunately.

Doesn't seem to be, I'm always sat watching them and keeping an eye on things and the others seem to be quite happy and no signs of any nasty things
