Corydoras Catfish Stabbed Next to Anus

Plz help my speckled cory catfish got stabbed by a feeding block (Serious open wound) while on vacation and I want to try to make him better. I put him in a 1.5 gal. hospital tank with maracyn and no substrate. I am afraid the injury impaired his pooping ability, because he seems to be swollen around his stomach.

FYI he was in a 20g planted community aquarium.
