Crooked spine, but otherwise healthy and active.

I have 12 neon tetras, I bought them sunday at the lfs and about 6 small bladder snails that hitched a ride on some plants that I ordered online
it's a 29 gallon that's been fishless cycling for a little over a month, aside from a very slight raise in amonia (less than .25) nothing is out of the ordinary
My water parameters are
>.25 amonia
>.3 (looks like 0 to me) nitrites
i don't currently have a nitrate test kit, but plan to get one very soon
ph is 7
gh is 2.5 degrees of hardness

I have an emperer (spelling?) 240 (240 gph) might seem like a lot, but they sometimes play in the current and the other side of the tank is relatively calm.

fish looked good at fish store and were active, but short after getting them I noticed one has a crooked spine. he's very active, loves eating, and possibly the fastest swimmer out of the lot. I think he was like this when I bought him. He seems unaffected by his spine aside from having to swim a little bit harder. Doubt it's tuberculosis, but would like a second opinion. Would like to take a picture to show everyone, but he's too fast!

Keep an eye on him. It happens quite a bit and could be age or genetics.

Go to your local pet store, they do free water testing
