bought 3 different swordtails from 3 different stores and they all died the next day.The males are fine females keep dying? don't understand. good temp. and ph

How long has this tank been set up? What are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings?

Husband took fish back with aquarium water to be tested and he said both places tested the water and said it was fine. dk. results of tests was at work when he did it.

90% of aquarium store workers that test your water for you have no clue what they are doing. Get your own test kits. You need at least Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate test kits. After you get the kits, post your results.
Don't buy any new fish until we diagnose if there is anything obviously wrong with the water. Additional fish will make any nitrogen cycle issues worse.
