Dead Nerite?

One of my nerite snails has stopped moving over the last 24 hours and if he does move he ends up upside down. When I picked him up to turn him the right way, it looked like his trapdoor (I think that's what it's called?) was partially shut, but his body was still out?

All my other nerites seem fine and are moving round... What can I do? How can I tell if he's dead? Thanks

If he's dead lift him out of the tank and sniff him, dead snail's smell really awful! You never forget the smell
I'm having the same issue as you at the moment with one of my new nerites but it's got no smell at the moment.
