I have 2 tanks, and money is alittle tight ATM so i dont have separate tools for each. 20g has ick and I realized I might have cross contaminated my siphon and water change bucket. What can I use to disinfect my tools so for now I can keep using them for two tanks.

Ps I'm monitoring the 10g for signs of ich so I can treat at the earliest possible moment.

Ok that I can do, I can pick up bleach on my way home tonight, it's just my 5gal bucket and my siphon those will be easy to clean that way thanks. But that ratio will be safe?

I've used 1:9 and 1:19. They've both worked fine. I've also used hydrogen peroxide for decontamination before, but that's best for smaller or gentler jobs. I agree with HUKIT that this is a job for bleach.

I really appreciate the help fellas, poor tanks have had a rough start so i didn't wanna cause more problems for them. I love this community.
