They look okay to me. How are they swimming? Are the schooling okay?

i only have 3 as 1 died.
they are schooling with my 6 rummy nose (were added 3 days ago)
there eating ok..

they were added to my tank the day after it was set up as there was no room for my old tank aswell.

they lost there colour and had a brown/white colour on there sides. it went with general tonic but now its playing with my head haha!

Do you test your water? If you do, could you post all of your results here? What is your temp?

yeh i do it weekly.
i just added a new external filter (but keeping my old one running for a month)
the levels have gone up abit in the last 2 days

Ph 7.4
ammonia 0
Nitrite 0.25
Nitrate 5.0

heat is at 26 c

Nitrite should be 0 :) from the picture they look fine. Neons can be quite sensitive. Imo its normal to expect one or two deaths in the first couple of weeks. They would enjoy some more buddies though.

I don't see anything wrong with your tests. how often do you do your water changes?

ok thanks :)

yeh as soon as its all sorted in getting 5 more neons. just making sure everything is ok. the nitrite was 0 till i added this external it went to 0.50 then came down so i think it will be ok after a water change and 24 hours :)

THANK YOU!
It was just playing with my head haha!

I water change 30% once a week
