does riddich turn shrimp blue/green

because today i replaced my bamboo shrimp and it was a beautiful blue/green with darker blue/green stripes. the person said that these would go away as the medicine also goes away. and the last one i got it had some blue/green and b4 it died it was a brownish.

is this true?
