Dropsy

Just discovered one of our female platys possibly has dropsy! We've noticed her scales are moving away from her body she has been off her food for a bit sat at the bottom of the tank keeps coming up now and again started eating a little again but generally not behaving normal could this affect our other fish could it b todo with the fact that she has had fry but were not sure how many

When my fish got dropsy, I put them down. It never spread to the other fish.

Unfortunatly came down this morning to find her dead bless her will keep eye on others !!

I wish you luck! I have never even gotten a straight answer about how dropsy develops anyway, last I heard it was a pH thing, but who knows?
