One of my rosy barbs is bloated and it's fins seem to be eroding. I've seen fin rot and it doesn't look exactly like it but I'm sure that he's got it and dropsy. I'm treating with Maracyn Oxy. I'm on day 2 of 5. If that doesn't work, should I try to Melafix? As a matter of fact rites no nitrates ever went up. I know my tank cycled because my ammonia went down with little help from me. My fish have been in there for over about 12 days and the ammonia has not changed. I did start with loads of good bacteria from the guy I bought the tank from.
