Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my ram? I have had her for just a month now. Back tail fun seems funny and of course she is laying around- I am sure this is not a good sign. Is there anything I can do to save her?

What are your water parameters? (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates)

Laying on the ground is not a good sign at all. I had 2 rams do that, and they both died shortly after :(

Well, she did not make it and now my male ram is not acting right either. He is rubbing against stuff. I have moved him back to my qt tank but I have no idea what is wrong or how to treat him

Oh - I will test my water tomorrow, but I am sure ammonia and nitrites are at zero. I will have to check on the nitrates.
I know the German blue rams are sensitive to the nitrates and the Bolivians are supposed to be easier. Is it possible this all has to do with nitrates?
