I recently bought an electric blue ram, and he seemed to be doing fine until today. Now, he's staying in the upper right hand corner of the tank, going vertical, and breathing quickly.

Can anyone suggest anything to do? The other fish in the tank seem to be doing fine. The only change I made to the tank was to raise the temperature a couple of degrees (80 to 82) and I added a few discus to the tank, but I haven't observed any aggression.

thanks

Actually, I did add a second and new filter pad to my penguin 200 (but left the old one in. Could that have any effect?

Well, what are your water parameters? That could be a factor, but then again, may not be. Blue rams, from what i've heard and seen on here, are not very hardy, and alot of times dont make it very long.
