Ghost Shrimp

My ghost shrimp lost one of his front arms. I don't know if I got him like that or if he recently lost it somehow, but will he be okay? He's moving around fine, but can't grab food as easily. I'd post a picture, but it's hard enough seeing them in pictures, since their see-through.

I was under the impression (correct me if I'm wrong), that they can grow back missing limbs as they grow and moult. Don't know if that's rubbish but I know that lobster type things can so maybe that extends to shrimps too.
