Glass thermometer broke

Ok this morning I was looking at my freshwater tank a noticed some of my tiger barbs were bloated looking and I just happens to took look over a the thermometer a noticed the bottom of it was broken off I immediatly removed it and I'm now doing a big water change is there anything else I can do so far other then the boosting the fish seem fine

I believe the liquid inside the thermometer is alcohol mixed with a bit of red food coloring, and should not harm the fish. PWC should be fine though probably not a requirement
