Gourami dead

I purchased a fire gourami on monday and he did fine, eating and swimming around actively but the last two days he was not near as active and did not eat, this morning he was on his side dead at the bottom of the tank.

I have 8 zebra danios, 1 otoclinus, and a syndontis catfish and all of them are doing fine


Anyone have a clue as to what happened?
