Guppies disapearing tail!?!?

There's 15 fish. I've just done another dipstick and everything's coming up fine. But I think I know what's happened. It's a guppy we got 2 days ago from a friend who was getting rid of some of his fish and so was the other one. I'm thinking that's got something to do with it.

That might be it, rehomming fish can cause a lot of stress. Allow some time for the fish to get comfortable and turn the lights off for the fish to adapt to the environment.
 
Well I've checked my tank over this morning and all my fish look happy and healthy. Thanks for the info :)
