Ok so I had my female guppy give birth to seven babies today. Unfortunately 3 of the babies were premature and died. Now my female looks like this. What is wrong? Could I have done anything to prevent this? I have done my research on breeding guppies and have not seen anything like this? The closest thing I have seen to an injury during birth is a prolapse uterus.

QT the guppy, and add 1 1/2 teaspoons of aquarium salt per gallon and keep the temp at 81 degrees. make sure the tank is bare, and yes, look up hemorrhagic septicemia or whatever, but if it happened immediately after the birth, I am 100% sure it is not a disease. Feed it freeze dried bloodworms exclusively, as it helps with faster healing.
