One of my fish has fin rot cold this because of some thing I did?
The fish was in my tank for less then two weeks, and in the two weeks
I tested, treated the water and made normal cleaning. My test levels on average are pH 7.2, Nitrite no2 0ppm, Ammonia nh3/nh4 .5 ppm, general hardness GH 9 drops, and carbonate hardness kH 10 Drops. If you do not know the normal these are good levels except the pH it should be at 7.0.

How should I treat this fish and are my other fish at risk?

what type of fish is it, the general hardness and the carbonate hardness might not be normal, what is the reading 9 and 10 drops doesnt realy tell us what the reading is.

and most people say that 7.0 is a good reading but it all depends on the fish south american fish like the water too be acidic and africans like it more alkline ect..

so 1 drop = ppm, my hagen is 1 drop = 10ppm for one and 1 drop =20ppm for the other, read your instructions , it will just make it easyer and what kind of fish do you have?
