Hi I got 3 tetras ( TETRA SERPAE) just two days and put them in 10G new tank. For one day they were fine... and i fed them couple of tropical flakes( did not over fed) . Now they are not eating .... they have no energy left one fish is already on the ground .. but looks like breathing .. one fish is at top of the tank and another is in middle of the tank.. I have no clue what to do ... its just second day .... and do I need to change the water.... please help

Thanks Guys ...
I ran my filter for 24 hours before I added the fish..
is it possible to build up enough ammonia in one day to an alarming level ...
will changing some of the water will help?

Yes. If you read that link that Neilan provided, it tells you everything you'll need to do. Basically, you need to do 50% water changes as often as necessary. Do you have a liquid test kit? If not, you need one so that you can monitor your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels. Even .25ppm of ammonia is toxic to fish.
