Help! Salt in freshwater?

Hello, just recently noticed bloody fins on my betta, wanted to know if it is safe to add salt to my freshwater tank which includes bamboo shrimp and ghost shrimp?!

Does salt negatively effect shrimp?

I've used salt with ghost shrimp, but just to be safe i'd move them to a separate tank just for the time being. how big is your tank?

Its a ten gallon, when I first got the bamboo shrimp I had a small amount of salt in the tank leftover from a treatment, but it was very diluted. Just wanted to know if its safe for them. It's hard enough to keep them alive as it is!

Bump, just wanted to get some opinions, ive started pwc with salt, so i'm going to watch them closely for signs of trouble
