help! White fluff (cotton looking)

Hello This morning I woke up to one of my White cloud minnows dead but he had a load of White fluff around his whole body?

After i found it I just cleaned out about 40% of the tank,

Can anyone tell me why this happened?
And will my other fish be okay?

Hi Charlie,

welcome to AA. It sounds like some type of fungas... there is a sticky in the top of this board, called disease diagnosis..... you should check it out and see if anything sounds familiar... your tank may be contaminated if its something that spreads.

sorry I cant help more. and GL you dont happen to have a picture of the fish with the white fluff??
