Help. White stuff on fish.

My black moor goldfish got small patch of creamy whitish brownish stuff on her side, I think it's a fungus but my sister says its normal since she also had a black moor goldfish before. Is it a fungus or is she just adjusting to her tank?

Can you please post your parameters, tank size, stocking and water change schedule? A pic will help as well to see what's going on. Thanks!

Does it look like others of its kind? Did your sister get her fish from the same place?

Pictures needed for a diagnosis. Doesnt sound normal to be but cant be sure.
