Exclamation Help with Sick Convict

Help with unknown illness. Looks like scales are becoming whitish blue and flaky. Happened only on one side of fish but has now spread to other side.

Will test water parameters when I get home, but does anyone know what this may be?

Sorry picture is tough to see, fish wouldn't stay still.
