High Nitrate - White spot treatment

Thanks for all the help.

Just gave the stones a good vaccum (just got a battery operated one much better) and then did a 50% PWC

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5

Will test now tomorrow and do whats needed seeing as i now fully understand how to maintain the tank properly

im sure all that waste at the bottom that i just vaccumed up properly only added to the problem

Tested again this morning

Nitrite 2!

Didnt test the nitrate just started straight on the PWC's

3 x 50% PWC's and a extremely good clean of the bottom (better than i did yesterday! dont think i can see any waste now at the bottom) and cleaned the artifical plants in old aquarium water amazing how much stuff comes of of those!

Happy days.... it seems such an easy task now just part of my morning routine hopefully wont carry on much longer lol

Test again tomorrow or should i do it in a few hours considering the nitrite are rising fast it seems. when cleaning the stones i noticed about 10 fry might be more
