Hopefully you guys can help me out. About two months ago, I purchased a honey gourami and a few dwarf gourami and quarantined them. However, there was an ick and dwarf gourami disease outbreak that killed all but the dwarf and honey; I then moved them into a 10 gallon hospital tank with a Whisper 10-30i filter and treated them. They have been there for the past month.
This afternoon, I preformed a 25% water change and noticed that my honey gourami had a brown belly. Is this anything to worry about? He is very active, and eating heartily, but I'm just worried-- I've never seen anything like this before.
While my ammonia and nitrite are 0, my nitrate is high. Could that be causing it? Any help would be appreciated!
