Hospital tank

I think its a good idea especially if you have a larger tank. Medicating a large tank can be quite expensive & difficult especially if you have plants or inverts. Its also a good idea to qt any new fish to prevent the possibility of spreading disease into your primary tank. I would run an extra filter for the little tank on your main tank indefinitely in the event you need to use it. This will give you an instantly cycled qt tank. Hope this helps!
