How to use Seachem Metronidazole with food?

I'm going to feed Metronidazole to cure hexamita in a platy, but i'm not sure how exactly to feed it. I have New life spectrum small fish pellets, Xtreme aquatics flakes, and frozen bloodworms. The instructions say to mix it into a food paste, but can I mush up some flakes or pellets into a paste for this purpose? Or could I just soak the pellets, then roll them in the metro?

I would just drip a little aquarium water in a bowl then crush up your flakes into it and mix it with your hands then add the meds. If it gets too wet, just add more flakes. I am sure it will work just as well with the pellets.
