humanely killing fish-HELP!

i can't find the thread about humanely killing fish- could someone tell me where it is or just tell me a quick way to do it? i need help fast

The easiest way for me is to cut the head off quickly with a very sharp knife. I don't like how long some of the other methods take.

Look under the section you posted this in (unhealthy fish) & read the sticky at the beginning on 'overview of euthansia'. The best method i believe is an ice bath thats been heavily chilled (stick it in freezer) though i have never had to euthanize a fish so i cant speak from experience. I believe some people add salt as well to lower the freezing point even further. Im sorry about your fish

i think ill try the freezing method, only because I'm a little too squeamish to decapitate it.

Don't put the fish in a cup of water and freeze it... make sure you have the water icy, then break the ice and drop the fish in.
